Nissan’s former boss Carlos Ghosn may have been telling the truth when he claimed the OEM orchestrated his ouster, as an internal email trail reportedly supports the claim. Emails that date back to February 2018, one year before Ghosn was arrested in Japan, “allegedly describe a deliberate and multi-pronged effort — a ‘methodical campaign,’ Bloomberg said — to remove Ghosn from the company and in so doing, put Nissan in position to negotiate a more favourable relationship with alliance partner Renault.” Read the original article…
