U.S. dealers worried about pickup truck shortage

As the U.S. economy slides, pickup trucks have proven to be of interest to consumers but some auto dealerships are worried they will run out of inventory due to an impending shortage. “Our biggest issue will be if we don’t get more inventory,” said Jerry Bill, General Sales Manager, Stew Hansen Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, which sells vehicles in Urbandale — a suburb of Iowa’s capital Des Moines.
