Geneva Motor Show offers virtual presentations

The 90th edition of the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) was cancelled in February, but the press conferences and presentations of world premieres were still offered online in March.

“Traditionally, the Geneva International Motor Show is a showcase for the presentation of over a hundred world premieres,” said GIMS in its news release. “Despite the cancellation of the 90th edition of the GIMS, the organizers have decided to offer to the public, fans and the media — partly live — the streaming of the press conferences and presentations of the world premieres organized by the manufacturers in different locations.”

The virtual press day was held on March 3 at 8:00 a.m. CET, with automakers like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Škoda, Honda, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, and McLaren among the OEMs taking part by offering virtual conferences.

The press conferences and presentations of vehicle unveilings can be viewed on the GIMS page or downloaded in English, French or German.
