Dealer-FX releases Dealer Messenger app

Dealer-FX has released a new mobile app that notifies dealership employees and customers of vehicle status updates, according to a company news release.

Known as Dealer Messenger, the app basically adds mobile functionality to the existing web-based application to improve throughput, profits, and customer satisfaction.

“Consumer preferences are evolving, forcing a disruptive transformation in the way dealerships service vehicles,” said Gary Kalk, President and CEO of Dealer-FX. “The Dealer Messenger mobile solution enables dealers to communicate to customers via text message to deliver a seamless and frictionless digital service experience.”

The app sends dealers system-generated notifications regarding vehicle status updates, incoming messages, and overdue responses. Dealers also have the ability to send messages internally with other dealer users, send text messages (including images and video) to customers, and “subscribe” to message threads. They can also view the history of communication about the customer’s vehicle.

“Dealer Messenger seamlessly integrates into ONE Platform to create an end-to-end digital dealership,” said Dealer-FX. “This is another way that Dealer-FX is thinking forward and driving the digital transformation of dealerships.”

The app is available to download via both the Apple Store or through Google Play.
