Garage Juice Bar to expand EV chargers in Canada

The company recently announced a “strategic transaction” with Oasis Charger Corporation to support its plan of expanding its North American network. The privately-financed deal was announced on Monday.

“We are excited to be working with Juice Bar’s excellent team of professionals,” said Paul Vosper, President and CEO of Oasis. “They have earned a formidable reputation for reliability and outstanding customer service.”

Juice Bar’s EV chargers are currently operating in 71 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada, in both parking lots and garages.

Oasis Charger Corporation was initially created with the intention of acquiring Juice Bar’s assets. It was also formed to invest in the growth of the company’s EV charger infrastructure to help meet the increasing demand for these types of chargers. “The US government forecasts a need for 600,000 EV chargers by 2025,” said Vosper, “but there are barely 50,000 operating in the country today.”

His first priority, however, will be to cut down on installation time as Vosper aims to reduce delivery time to three weeks.
