Porsche Cars Canada has brought on new directors for several roles, including marketing, network development and after sales.

Margareta Mahlstedt-Karayiannis will become the new Marketing Director for Porsche Canada, effective Feb. 22, 2016. Prior to her new role, Mahlstedt-Karayiannis served as Vice-President of Marketing for Volvo Cars Canada and various marketing and communication roles with Rogers and BMW Group Canada.

Thomas Illner was appointed role of Director of Network Development, effective March 1, 2016. Illner previously held the position of After Sales Director for Porsche in Canada over the past five years.

His replacement is Roberto De Prisco, who comes from Porsche Switzerland, where he held experience in after sales, operations, customer care, technical training and technical support.

Illner will be taking over for John Capella, who will be the new Managing Director for the future Porsche Centre North, slated to open in 2017.

The carmaker said Cappella’s new role will be fully dedicated to setting up and establishing the fourth Porsche dealership in the GTA, to be located in the northeast corner of highways 401 and 404.
