Chevrolet Canada was also awarded most improved franchise with a dealer network of 101 or more.

Stephen Carlisle, President and Managing Director of General Motors of Canada, accepted the award.

Carlisle said he recognizes the award shows an improvement in the company’s relations with dealers, but said more work remains. “It’s an honour and a privilege to be able to accept this,” said Carlisle, who thanked the dealers in the room for being open to a new approach, one that was more transparent and open.

The CADA DSI Award winners were selected based on the results from CADA’s annual DSI Survey that goes out to dealer principals each fall.

Dealers respond to questions related to the performance of their manufacturers, including include overall communication, ease of doing business, vehicle and parts deliveries, customer satisfaction policies and sales and service.

The 2016 CADA Summit is organized by the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association, and is supported by an exclusive sponsorship from TD Auto Finance.
