Mercedes-Benz dealerships throughout Toronto are getting into the holiday spirit, and are holding a toy drive until Dec. 15, 2015.
All of the unwrapped toys collected will be loaded up onto a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van and delivered to the Toronto Fire Fighters Toy Drive, a non-profit charity.
Santa will also be making a special appearance at participating dealerships across the GTA, added Mercedes-Benz.
“The employees from the Mercedes-Benz Toronto Corporate Stores are passionate about giving back to the communities in which they operate and we know that the donated toys will make a difference for those in need,” said Philipp v. Witzendorff, Vice-President and Head of Toronto Retail Operations at Mercedes-Benz Canada, in a written release.
In addition to the toy drive, the Mercedes-Benz Toronto Corporate Stores have also loaned a Sprinter van to the Toronto Fire Fighters Toy Drive for three months to help support its toy distribution logistics in the GTA.
“We are extremely grateful that the Mercedes-Benz Toronto Corporate Stores have wholeheartedly embraces our cause once again this year by providing us the use of a Mercedes-Sprinter,” said Ray Easby, Executive Director for the Toronto Fire Fighters Toy Drive.
