CarGurus comes to Canada

CarGurus-300Popular U.S. auto shopping site CarGurus has launched CarGurus Canada that will help Canadian dealers find more leads.

“Car shoppers want more transparency and efficiency as they research their purchase. We see tremendous opportunity in Canada to deliver on this promise with a model that is unique in the market,” said Langley Steinert, Founder and CEO of CarGurus, in a written release.

“As we’ve proven in the U.S., when the car shopping process is transparent, everybody benefits — shoppers and dealers alike,” he said.

CarGurus uses a mathematical model to analyze and compare prices, specs and dealer ratings on millions of car listings. The site then ranks the results based on the best deals on new and used vehicles from local top-rated dealers.

The company has more than 15 million unique monthly visitors, and partners with 7,000 dealerships in the U.S.

The Canadian site is currently available in English, and is developing a French Canadian version.
