Fundraiser at Manheim Toronto_650

Staff at Manheim Toronto are taking part to support various local community initiatives.

One of which is a year-long fundraising campaign in support of the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre in Hamilton, Ont., one of the largest comprehensive cancer centres in Canada.

The goal is to raise $12,500 which will be matched by the Centre to total $25,000, to go towards all of the equipment required to fill a single patient room.

A “toy” BMW was also auctioned off during Manheim Toronto’s recent Highline sale to benefit the Centre.

In addition to the fundraiser for the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre, Manheim Toronto is hosting the inaugural Ruth Hart-Stephens and Bob Beattie Memorial Golf Tournament on May 29 at Lion Head Golf Club.

The golf tournament supports the Robert G. Beattie Memorial Scholarships that will be awarded annually to two students entering their second year at the Automotive Business School of Canada at Georgian College in Barrie, Ont.
