A partnership between Dealer-FX and MPK Automotive Systems will help dealers streamline their processes on the service drive by integrating the technologies through a third party.
In a press release announcing the partnership, Dealer-FX said service advisors who use MPK’s Data Management System will be able to effectively “pull” a customer’s service, sales and appointment history to help make the initial stages of the write-up as efficient as possible, while reducing duplicating data entries.
In addition, the service drive processes can automatically “push” service appointments and repair orders directly into the DMS while capturing the correct mileage, Op Codes, pricing and descriptions, all through a tablet device of desktop PC, said Dealer-FX.
