SERTI names Louis Laporte as President

3-SERTI-300SERTI Informatique Inc. and its executive committee have announced the appointment of Louis Laporte as SERTI’s new president, succeeding company founder Jean-Marc Thibault. In his new role, Laporte will now be responsible for all of SERTI’s strategic decisions.

Laporte began his career at SERTI back in 1988 as a programmer-analyst in charge of the firm’s Dealership Management Solution, SDS. In 1991, he became an Associate and Project Manager and was appointed Vice-President in 1997.

Remarking on Laporte’s appointment, founding President Thibault, who has announced his retirement, said, “I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Louis Laporte to replace me after 39 years as President of SERTI Informatique Inc. Louis has been an associate for over 20 years and truly possesses the qualities required of a great business manager. Louis and the other associates have my complete confidence in bringing SERTI to new heights.”
