In Nanaimo, B.C. a new Mercedes-Benz retail facility has opened, located on 2472 Kenworth Road. Encompassing 14,000 sq.ft. this new dealership, will operate under the name Mercedes-Benz Nanaimo and replaces the previous Three Point Motors building at the same location. Hannu Ylanko, vice-president, National Sales for Mercedes-Benz Canada Inc., recently joined Sylvester Chuang, dealer principal of Three Point Motors — Nanaimo, along with Peter Trzewik, general manager, for the official grand opening of Mercedes-Benz Nanaimo.
Located in the commercial heart of Nanaimo, the new dealership employs an open-concept showroom that spans almost 6,000 sq.ft., while the service area features four fully-equipped service bays and one oversized bay designed to accommodate commercial vans. This expansion is designed to provide sufficient capacity to further improve processes and better serve the after-sales, parts and accessories needs of customers. In addition, a 2,200 sq.ft. drive-thru will provide customers a convenient vehicle drop-off and pick-up area that protects them from inclement weather.
The overall layout of the entire facility follows the trademark Auto Haus design concept, with extensive use of glass to promote transparency throughout the building. This signature design also guarantees a consistent brand identity for each dealership in the company’s cross-Canada network, regardless of location.
