SSQauto-launches-300In Quebec, SSQauto has announced that it is the first insurer in Canada to offer online access to body shop services. With its new Body Shop Direct service, SSQauto customers will now be able to track the progress of repairs to their vehicle after submitting a claim. In a world where consumers want to be able to track their affairs in real time, the company says that it offers an innovative approach that will become a must for its clients.

“Our Body Shop Direct service demonstrates our company’s forward thinking, always keeping up with innovative methods and tools to propel our customer service to new heights,” declared Eric Thériault, vice president of claims at SSQauto. “In addition, we are keen to work with our network of partners recommended for the launch of this new approach.”

Body Shop Direct works by enabling customers to be informed by text message or email (their preference) of updates on the repairs being made to their vehicle. One click takes customers to their case file, which provides a range of useful information (what has been repaired, possible delays, vehicle delivery date, etc.) but especially to view photos of the repairs step by step.

“This initiative makes us the first to use this approach in Canada,” said Gilles Mourette, CEO of SSQauto. “Body Shop Direct is perfectly in line with our values, particularly with regard to accessibility and transparency, both toward our customers and our recommended partners.”

SSQauto says that its customers can benefit from the advantages of Body Shop Direct across the province of Quebec through the company’s network of recommended partners. For more information, including a demonstration, go to SSQauto.com/atelierendirect
