Following on from its cousin, the Scion FRS, Subaru recently announced Canadian pricing on its much anticipated rear-wheel drive BRZ sports coupe. When it begins to arrive in dealerships this June as a 2013 model, the car will boast a MSRP of $27,295 when equipped with the standard six-speed manual gearbox. Cars ordered with the six-speed automatic will sticker at $28,495.
Regardless of transmission choice, each Subaru BRZ in Canada will sport the 2.0-liter boxer four-cylinder engine rated at 200 horsepower and standard High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights, touch screen satellite navigation, smart phone integration and Bluetooth connectivity and streaming features.
An available Sport-tech package will add front foglights, a body colour rear deck spoiler, dual zone climate control, a smart key feature with pushbutton start, plus heated front seats with Alcantara inserts. Sport-tech equipped cars have a MSRP of $29,295 in six-speed manual form, $30,495 when equipped with the automatic transmission.
