In an effort to improve the potential of online wholesale opportunities for dealers, Boost Motor Group has partnered with Manheim Canada. This new arrangement enables dealers to pull vehicles directly from their trade-in or retail inventory and post them directly onto Manheim’s OVE.com, which not only gives them exposure to a far greater number of potential buyers in the marketplace, but also, provides a proven marketing, disclosure and post-sale process for each car or truck listed, says the company.
Depending on the request of the individual dealer, inventory can be automated in Boost and then sent directly to OVE.com in whichever fashion a particular store chooses, ranging from vehicles that have been inventory for a specific number of days, to individual cars and trucks. Because both solutions share information on each car listed, there’s no need for the dealer to reenter photos, history or specifications once it hits OVE.com, since the details are already there. This enables a much more streamlined process in online listing and ensures vehicles go live in just minutes.
In regards to the new arrangement, Greg Connor, Boost Group’s CEO remarked that “we’ve seen the Internet radically change the retailing environment for auto dealers and this is the logical next step for dealers to expand their horizons in the wholesale arena. By leveraging the information already in our system, we can get aged retail inventory over to OVE.com with very little friction, gaining more exposure for dealers, with much less hassle.”
Don Wallace, director of e-Business and Commercial Accounts at Manheim Canada, added: “we are committed to growing our dealer consignment business and adding more value for dealers. This partnership really capitalizes on a couple of dominant themes; the growth in our online marketplace with OVE.com and the efficiency of moving cars virtually.”
