autoTRADER.ca drops prices to support dealers

TRADER is slashing the price of its marketplace products on autoTRADER.ca by half, from April through May 2020, to help Canadian dealers nationwide amid COVID-19.

The 50 per cent price reduction was announced on March 20, and aims to support Canadian dealer partners in need of financial flexibility as they navigate through the economic repercussions of the novel coronavirus.

“In the past couple of weeks, we have had important conversations with our dealer partners, and it’s no secret these are challenging times for all of us,” said David McMinn, Chief Operating Officer, TRADER Corporation. “In moments like these, we believe it’s crucial to be able to work together and be flexible, so we all get through this situation as best we can.”

The revised pricing will automatically be reflected on their invoices.

TRADER plans to continue monitoring the situation and assess the automotive arena in the coming months. The company said dealers interested in learning more about the price reduction roll-out can contact their account managers.
