AutoCanada expands with acquisition of Montreal collision centre

The AutoCanada dealership group recently acquired Montreal-based luxury-brand focused collision centre Autolux MB Collision.

The company has been operating for more than 30 years, and is a certified Mercedes-Benz collision centre. The acquisition is part of AutoCanada’s strategy to expand its national collision centre network to match its dealership network.

“The addition of this high-quality collision centre is another step towards our goal of filling out our national collision centre footprint,” said Paul Antony, Executive Chairman.

Antony said the company wants to support its customers and OEM partners through the entire vehicle ownership lifecycle, and that includes collision repair. “Increasing vehicle complexity puts a further emphasis on fixing vehicles the right way—using parts and procedures prescribed by the OEM,” said Antony.

The collision centre they acquired operates out of a facility with more than 15 production bays. It is located close to four of AutoCanada’s dealerships: Mercedes-Benz Rive-Sud, BMW Mini Montreal Centre, BMW Mini Laval, and Planète Mazda.
