Dee Murphy is joining AutoVerify, a rapidly growing automotive software company, as their new digital desking manager. Murphy has over 10 years of experience within the automotive industry, having developed an extensive understanding of the front and back ends of the dealership business.
Throughout her time within the automotive industry, Murphy has held positions within dealerships and dealer group credit centres, as well as having held executive-level positions with other Canadian financial tech companies in the vendor side of the industry.
Murphy has been a strong advocate for women within the industry. She is co-founder of The Liminal Place, a women-driven community that provides a venue for women to find support and mentorship in navigating gender bias within the automotive industry. Also acting as an accomplished public speaker, Murphy has served as the keynote speaker at the 2020 Women & Automotive digital conference, and was named an honouree by the 2021 Women & Automotive profiles in leadership.
“I’ve been watching AutoVerify and Mobials for quite some time,” Murphy says. “I have been impressed by their growth and success, but what most excites me about this opportunity is that this is clearly a company that is focused on continuous improvement.”
Murphy’s addition to the team comes as AutoVerify and its parent-company Mobials Inc. embark on a promising period of growth and innovation. Having recently added e-commerce and digital merchandising functions to its digital retailing suite, AutoVerify has also recently launched a digital desking product powered by DealerCorp. The product is designed to help dealers future-proof their business and provide customers with the option to have flexible, collaborative negotiations about vehicle purchases from the comfort of their own homes.
