Tesla to ditch radar tech in U.S.-built Model 3 and Y

Tesla is doing away with radar technology in certain U.S.-built vehicles (Model 3 and Model Y), according to CarAdvice. “When radar and vision disagree, which one do you believe? Vision has much more precision, so better to double down on vision than do sensor fusion,” said Tesla CEO Elon Musk in a tweet.
