Virginia latest U.S. state to adopt California’s emissions standards

Virginia is the latest U.S. state to adopt California’s emissions standards after passing a “Clean Car Standards” bill recently approved by the state legislature and awaiting the governor’s signature. The new legislation is also supported by the Virginia Auto Dealers Association. “Virginia’s drivers want cleaner cars, and this forward-thinking program ensures that it will be easier for them to buy the latest and greatest electric vehicles as they hit the market,” said David Friedman of Consumer Reports.
