Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is suing its Canadian (Ontario-based) supplier, claiming it is not supplying enough engine blocks. “The automaker claims Martinrea ‘improperly and unilaterally’ dedicated one of its manufacturing machines, located at a facility in Mexico, to another customer,” said Driving.ca. The lawsuit claims the company was to produce 13,021 engine blocks per week for the OEM, and that now it can only make a maximum of 6,247 blocks per week.
