The annual EV/VÉ 2020 conference and trade show organized by Electric Mobility Canada will be held virtually this year for two full days, from Nov. 9-10.
The event will include participation from the Canada Infrastructure Bank and three ministers on electric mobility: Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry; Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Natural Resources; and Benoit Charette, a Quebec politician, among other participants.
Day one will feature topics such as:
- Canada and the world: what’s happening in terms of government and policies supporting electric mobility;
- The case for a Canadian EV industry strategy: making it work for Canadian businesses and workers;
- Made in Canada electric vehicles and components: how to do it; and
- How to accelerate the building and development of EV infrastructure.
Day two will cover topics around battery technology advancements and e-mobility.
Announcements will also be made by Flo, NRCan, StatsCan, Hydro-Québec, and Electric Mobility Canada.
