Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) announced Friday an adjusted loss of $1.1 billion (928 million euros) in the second quarter as a result of the pandemic. The loss, although significant, is smaller than predicted because of the OEM’s strong performance in the North American market, where Jeep and Ram brands helped boost earnings to approximately $46.2 million (39 million euros).
