Walmart is closing its retail Tire, Lube and Express businesses across Canada amid COVID-19, to boost online growth and to continue to deliver its core business — such as food, consumables, health and wellness, fashion, and general merchandise. However, the company plans to continue its partnership with Mr. Lube. Roughly 106 stores Canada-wide would be impacted by the closures, along with approximately 550 employees.
