U.S. feds wants auto sales to be deemed essential

The U.S. federal government is recommending that auto sales be deemed an essential service. But that would contradict an executive order signed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan that prohibits in-person car sales, according to The Detroit News. “The new guidelines come as states, including Michigan, prepare protocols to begin reopening state economies essentially shut down to battle the coronavirus pandemic stretching from Asia and Europe to North America.” (Source: The Detroit News) Read the original story…
