Clarington Hyundai recently broke ground on its new 35,000 square-foot dealership in Ontario.
According to the company, the current building was built in 2005, but the team has since outgrown the facility. The new one will include 14 sales offices, 11 showrooms, and 14 service bays.
The ground breaking ceremony was attended by Tony Willson, Dealer Principal at Clarington Hyundai, who offered a few words about the project, along with a host of special guests, including Ken Maisonville, Director of Sales at Hyundai Auto Canada; John Henry, Durham Regional Chair; and the Mayor of Clarington, Adrien Foster.
“It is a good time to be in Durham Region and the City of Clarington and a great time to be at Clarington Hyundai,” said Tony Willson, President of Clarington Hyundai.
Willson said the facility is being built for world-class customer experience, with four bay drive-throughs, three waiting rooms, a children’s play area, and a “superior technology experience.”
The facility is also expected to include large training rooms, comfortable lunch areas, and large tech locker rooms for employees.
