A partnership between INFINITI Motor Company Ltd. and Amazon Canada has both companies gearing up to launch a new co-branded experiential and digital program for consumers. The first-ever Canadian co-branded program with Amazon Canada will provide customers an opportunity to interact with well-known brands.

The digital portion of the program launched successfully on July 15th when an online activation on Amazon.ca resulted in over 450 test drives at INFINITI retailers across the country. Qualified Amazon customers are invited to register for a test-drive at their local INFINITI retailer until October 31st. These customers will receive a $50 gift card (while quantities last) that they can use to shop on Amazon.ca.

The experiential element of the program builds off this digital push and is set to take place at an INFINITI pop-up event at Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto. The pop-up event is taking place between September 13th and 22nd and will include Amazon Canada’s first shoppable test-drive experience of the all-new INFINITI QX50 luxury crossover.

According to an INFINITI press release, this experiential event will “be a physical manifestation of the digital Amazon/INFINITI experience, resembling an upscale house that features both ‘smart’ and luxury products. The pop-up display will have an atmosphere embodying INFINITI’s new brand mantra, “Luxury Should Be Lived In.” Customers will be able to sign up on-site for a test drive, reinforcing the idea that “luxury should be real, enjoyed, and lived in.”

Both elements of the program are providing new and unique opportunities for INFINITI to connect with Amazon.ca customers. “Collaborating with Amazon Canada places INFINITI at the forefront of digital marketing innovation,” Adam Peterson, managing director of INFINITI Canada said in the company’s recent press release. “Both activiations of this program are centered around a careful curation of products on Amazon, which establishes a new sense of relatability to the INFINITI brand. It also provides an enhanced experience for customers to seamlessly and consistently engage with INFINITI both online and in-person,” he said.

INFINITI’s pop-up at Yorkdale Shopping Centre taking place September 13-22 is Amazon Canada’s first shoppable test-drive experience.
