RSR GLOBAL has launched a new product for dealers to help them keep tabs on their high value assets.
Known as GLOBAL iFind Powered by KYCS (Keep Your Community Safe), the device can be installed in a range of vehicles, from cars to motorcycles, boats, ATV/RV models and more. It also features a long-range Bluetooth identification technology to help dealers pinpoint lost or stolen assets through their smartphone.
Bluetooth capabilities range up to 700 metres and is said to penetrate through most building materials, according to a company news release.
“In essence, end user smartphones become the anonymous eye, ears and beacon that help identify stolen or missing property,” said Amanda Paetkau, Vice President Dealer Group Solutions, RSR GLOBAL. “With coverage across Canada, GLOBAL iFind stands to become a consumer’s reliable method to recover stolen assets.”
When an asset is reported stolen on the KYCS Recovery Network participating law enforcement officers will receive a notification. At the same time, the company’s recovery network will search for the Bluetooth signal of that stolen asset.
According to Dana Baltovich, VP Business Development Automotive, KYCS, the company’s existing network growth “places powerful asset protection and community watch tools into the hands of dealer customers.”
The iFind device works with the KYCS Keep Your Community Safe Mobile App.
