Cadillac dealership signals improved economy

Cadillac Canada has announced that it will break ground on its new Canadian dealership in Calgary, Atla. on Friday.

The event is meant to celebrate the carmaker’s first standalone dealer facility in Western Canada, according to the carmaker. It’s also a type of acknowledgement that the economic situation has improved in the area.

The dealership represents a sign that things are turning around for the City of Calgary, which saw its economy shrink by an estimated 3.8 per cent in 2015 and 2016.

Calgary also has a growing number of residents that are interested in luxury vehicles. The city is considered to be a “high volume market” for the carmaker in Western Canada.

The company teamed up with Jack Carter Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC to build the dealership, which will be called Carter Cadillac. The facility will be built under the company’s new Dare Greatly global image program.

A cornerstone of the Dare Greatly program is standalone, dedicated Cadillac facilities where clients are immersed in a luxury experience that can only be defined as “Cadillac level.”
