Axalta’s 2016 edition of its Custom Finishes Calendar Competition is now underway.
Formerly known as Dupont, Axalta Coating Systems is looking for motorized passenger vehicles including automobiles (imports or domestic), motorcycles and aircraft or watercraft, provided they are finished with Axalta custom finishes including Cromax brand, Spies Hecker brand or Standox brand products.
The Axalta Custom Finishes Calendar Competition began on Friday, May 1, 2015 and will end at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Friday, June 19, 2015.
If your body shop has painted an exceptional vehicle, you may enter online only by visiting the contest website, then select “Call for Entries.”
RED IS COMING BACK
Axalta also published a new post on its colour blog titled Are You Ready to Fall in Love with Red Again? This post discusses the growing popularity of red cars.
“For four years in a row, white has been the most popular colour on vehicles worldwide,” said Nancy Lockhart, Axalta Colour Marketing Manager.
“That is true in North America as well, but we did see a surge in the popularity of red last year. It is exciting to see this interest in a vibrant, bold colour like red.”
