2015 marks the 98th year of the NADA Convention & Expo, which returns to the city of San Francisco. The Golden Gate city has played host to the convention 16 times since 1948 and remains a favourite destination among many NADA attendees.

Taking place at the Moscone Center, this year’s convention will include some high calibre guest speakers including former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, former The Tonight Show host and comedian Jay Leno and also an inspirational address from Dr. Beck Weathers, who survived the notorious 1996 Mount Everest disaster that claimed the lives of eight climbers.

Among the other highlights for 2015 include a return of the “Not Your Daddy’s Orientation,” as well as online workshops from NADA University and Technology Town Halls. The latter will focus on topics related to auto retailing in the online world, with specific discussions surrounding Twitter, Google and eBay. As has been the case since 2012, the American Truck Dealers (ATD) Convention & Expo will be hosted alongside the NADA event.

Additionally, the 2015 NADA Convention & Expo marks the last time the event will be hosted in its traditional February time slot. For 2016, the Convention will become a spring fixture, taking place from April 1-4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The move was scheduled as part of a plan to allow additional venues to play host to the Convention, beyond its core cities, which have consisted of Las Vegas, New Orleans, Orlando and San Francisco.
