Recently, Dealer Solutions Canada facilitated in the ownership transfer of J. Lockwood Chrysler FIAT Ltd in Oakville, Ont., from Jay Lockwood to Gord and Reg Nimeck. Following the acquisition, the dealership has been renamed South Oakville Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram FIAT. The dealership is known for having one of the largest service departments in Ontario, including a Mopar Express lane which enables customer vehicles to receive light service and maintenance within 30 minutes.
The Nimecks own a small but growing dealer group. The stores within their portfolio consist of Raceway Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Toronto, Ont., Galt Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Oakville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
Jay Lockwood whom Dealer Solutions Canada represented in the transaction, has, as a result of the change in ownership at the Chrysler dealership, moved operations to his nearby Kia store. Interestingly, J. Lockwood Kia was a purchase also facilitated through Dealer Solutions Canada in which Lockwood acquired the dealership from The Budd’s Group earlier this year.
