On Friday, the Montreal International Auto Show will open its doors to the public once again, with more than 200,000 visitors expected to attend from January 17-26. The 2014 event represents the 46th running of this popular consumer show and the 12th time it has been entirely hosted at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.
“The event has become one of Montreal’s biggest,” said André Saucier, President and CEO of the Palais de Montréal. “We are strategically located in the city’s core and are ready for this major exhibition where many new vehicle models will be unveiled.”
This year’s event will witness the North American debut of the Mitsubishi Mirage G4 and more than 45 Canadian market new vehicle premieres, as well as the 10th annual Charity Preview.
Visitors to the 2014 Auto Show will benefit from the Palais’ new network infrastructure, which allows for up to 20,000 simultaneous wireless internet connections, and features state-of-the-art dynamic signage spearheaded by 88 55-inch giant screens and a 90 sq. ft. video wall located by the exit leading to the metro station.
