Scotiabank appoints new VP, Automotive Finance and Indirect Lending

Scotiabank recently announced that John Hiscock had beenappointed to the role of vice-president, Finance & Indirect Lending.

In his new position, Hiscock will be responsible for the overall strategic direction of Scotiabank’s automotive finance business, implementing strategies to grow revenue, market share and profitability.

Hiscock and his cross-functional teams will drive national branding, policy change, process, product development and pricing as well as
operational and systems changes designed to support business initiatives.

Hiscock is a veteran in the automotive financing business, having worked for Ford Credit in Ontario for 20 years in a variety of roles, including sales, marketing and risk management, before joining Scotiabank in 2009, as director, Sales & Client Relationship, at the firm’s Ontario Dealer Finance Centre.
