Scotiabank names new head of the Quebec Dealer Finance Centre

Scotiabank-Alain-Henry-300Scotiabank recently announced that Alain Henry will be the new head of its Dealer Finance Centre in the province of Quebec. Henry is a veteran with the organization, having started his career with Scotiabank in 1994, initially as a Commercial Automotive Officer Trainee. He has since progressed through more senior positions within the Quebec Dealer Finance Centre.

Prior to his new appointment, he held the post of director, Commercial & Retail Automotive Sales and in 2011 was promoted to vice-president, Automotive Finance. In this role he was responsible for all in-direct retail automotive, RV, marine and leisure products, commercial automotive products, program support and projects as well as pricing and finance on a national basis.

In his new role, Henry will be responsible for the leadership and overall strategic direction in the development, implementation and execution of strategies to grow the Automotive Commercial and Indirect Retail portfolio within the Quebec market. Working closely with a team of more than 95 dedicated automotive specialists and Scotiabank partners in Wealth Management, Scotia Dealer Advantage & Specialty Finance, Henry will be overseeing the full portfolio of dealership products and “best-in-class” customer service for the Quebec market.
