Drive HR moves from rollout to results

Dealer feedback, added support and measurable time savings are shaping the next phase.

One dealership health and safety leader says CADA 360 Drive HR has given back 35 per cent of their time. Another says the system provided every answer needed when a Ministry of Labour inspector arrived.

Those results point to the next phase for CADA 360 Drive HR. Dealers are using it, reporting measurable benefits and helping shape what comes next.

“CADA 360 Drive HR and the legacy DealerPILOT platform aren’t comparable. They’re light years apart,” said Mike Psotka, CADA’s CFO and Director, Member Services, in an interview with Canadian auto dealer. “Dealers are driving the bus. They requested these capabilities, and we delivered them.”

CADA 360 Drive HR was introduced as a workforce operations platform built specifically for automotive dealerships to replace the legacy DealerPILOT HR software. Over the past two years, CADA 360 has been migrating customers from DealerPILOT HR while refining the new platform through implementations, support conversations and direct dealer feedback.

“We’ve spent the last two years growing alongside our customers and the dealerships,” said Mandy Deveau, Dealer Communication & Engagement for CADA 360 Drive HR. “Every implementation, every support conversation and every piece of feedback helped shape our platform and how we support their organizations.”

From feedback to action

A refreshed user interface is already live. Behind it, CADA 360 Drive HR is continuing to invest in reporting, automation and AI tools intended to reduce administrative bottlenecks and give managers a clearer view of their workforce.

Deveau said dealers repeatedly identify visibility as a priority. They want to know where hiring is slowing, which training remains incomplete, where compliance needs attention and whether the same issues are appearing across several rooftops.

CADA 360 Drive HR brings recruitment, onboarding, employee records, health and safety, training, performance, compensation, scheduling, payroll integration and employee engagement into one environment. Automated notifications and workflows reduce the need for managers to remember every follow-up.

An HR executive with an Ontario dealer group said the system made required records immediately accessible during a Ministry of Labour inspection. Another group said centralizing HR and safety across its dealerships improved consistency and saved hours each week.

“That’s where all the interconnectivity of our programs comes into play,” said Psotka. “We’re trying to make it more of a one-stop access point to all CADA 360 programs, and we expect to announce more exciting developments on this front this fall.”

Support beyond implementation

CADA 360 Drive HR has also expanded the resources available to customers moving to the new software. Its support structure now includes technical support and a coast-to-coast team of customer success managers.

Rather than waiting for a problem, the customer success team works proactively with dealers through implementation and helps them use more of the platform once they are live.

“Our goal is to make sure customers aren’t simply using the platform, but getting real value from it,” said Deveau.

All new development is focused on CADA 360 Drive HR. Psotka said that distinction matters when dealers are reviewing competing systems. They should compare a competitor’s current platform with the current CADA 360 Drive HR offering, rather than judging the program by the older system it is replacing.

The CADA 360 Advantage

Drive HR also connects dealers to services beyond the HR platform.

Employee background checks can be initiated through an integrated provider, with CADA 360 covering the cost. Training developed with CADA 360 Garage Insurance partner HUB International can be delivered and tracked through the Drive HR Learning Management System, including fraud prevention and cybersecurity content.

“That’s where all the interconnectivity of our programs comes into play,” said Psotka. “We’re trying to make it more of a one-stop access point to all CADA 360 programs, and we expect to announce more exciting developments on this front this fall.”

Drive HR is giving dealers greater visibility into their workforce, reducing administrative burden, creating more consistency across locations and connecting them more closely with the wider CADA 360 program.

That gives dealers a clearer reason to assess the platform on what it delivers today, not on what the previous system could do.
