Reynolds and Reynolds has launched its 2026 Automotive Amplifiers Contest, inviting dealership professionals to showcase best practices that are shaping the future of automotive retail.
Announced March 26, the annual contest is tied to the Reynolds Retail Summit: Amplify event in Carlsbad, Calif., and highlights practical innovations aimed at improving dealership performance and customer experience. While the contest is U.S.-based, the ideas that surface often reflect broader retail trends across North America, including areas such as operational efficiency, digital processes and customer engagement.
“Each year, I’m impressed by the creativity and ingenuity people across our industry bring to this contest. Sharing best practices helps accelerate what’s possible in automotive retail,” said Chris Walsh, President of Reynolds, in a statement.
Entrants must outline a specific practice, the problem it addressed and the measurable impact on their dealership. Five finalists will be selected to present their ideas live at the Amplify summit on Aug. 11, delivering a five-minute presentation followed by a question-and-answer session with judges.
Submissions will be evaluated based on innovation, dealership impact and relevance to the broader industry. Finalists will receive travel and event access, while two winners will earn a $5,000 donation to a charity of their choice, along with a trophy.
“Innovation means creating value—for dealers, their teams, their customers, and the communities they serve,” said Walsh.
The submission deadline is June 22, with finalists to be notified in early July.
