Toyota’s  contest connects kids to automotive through creative means

Toyota is inviting children in Canada to design the car of the future through its 2025 Toyota Dream Car Art Contest  meant to encourage kids to express their creative ideas on paper.

The contest helps connect children to the automotive industry at a young age through creative means. Only people aged 15 and under are allowed to take part in the contest, which closes on Jan. 7, 2025.

Those taking part in the contest are also encouraged to explain the ideas expressed in their artwork. For example, how does it help the environment? Does it help people move from one place to another? Or does it use a new renewable source of energy?

Winners chance winning a US$5,000 grand prize in the global contest. However, three finalists will be selected in each of the three age categories: “Under eight,” “eight to 11” and “12 to 15,” to each win a $250 KiwiCo gift card.

For 2024, national contests were held in 90 countries and regions and included 712,845 entries overall. Twenty-six winners were then selected.
