Dealers understand that the most important asset in their dealership is the people. To keep staff happy and motivated, dealers need the best tools to recruit, train and manage their human capital. Many legacy systems aren’t up to the task, nor were they developed specifically for dealers.

CADA 360 partners with DealerPILOT to provide a software solution to address these dealer needs. Together, they recently launched the newest version of the software: DriveHRIS.

Under the CADA 360 Drive HR banner, the powerful new software platform helps dealerships manage health and safety compliance, recruitment and applicant screening, HR record keeping, employee training, culture and employee engagement, and many other HR-related functions. The new platform is designed to support next generation AI functionality as well.

To reduce confusion in the marketplace, CADA 360 has changed the name of their program to CADA 360 Drive HR (formerly CADA 360 HR Automation). This aligns with DealerPILOT’s launch of their new brand that has come out in conjunction with the next evolution of their software.

“DealerPILOT continues to improve their software in response to our dealers’ needs and requirements and DriveHRIS brings dealers to the next level,” said Michael Psotka, CADA’s CFO and Director of Member Services. “CADA, is encouraging all of their members to migrate to the new software to take advantage of its improved user interface and functionality. DriveHRIS is a powerful and mobile forward design, has new modules, and was built to take advantage of AI and machine learning capabilities that didn’t exist when most platforms in the marketplace were created.“

To reduce confusion in the marketplace, CADA 360 has changed the name of their program to CADA 360 Drive HR (formerly CADA 360 HR Automation).

The new platform is optional and dealers can choose to transition at a time that is good for them based on scheduling a timeline with DealerPILOT. It will take some time to transition all clients to the new platform.

“CADA 360 encourages you to speak to your representative at DealerPILOT to determine when transition is right for your dealership. The current platform will remain fully supported should dealers wish to remain on their current platform,” said Psotka.

“There is a fully-managed transition process for those dealers who are using CADA 360 HR Automation powered by DealerPILOT,” said Michael Stassen, President and CEO of DealerPILOT, in an interview with Canadian auto dealer. “For any new customers, they can jump right away into CADA 360 Drive HR and use the newest software and its functionality.”

Stassen said some dealers have already transitioned to the new platform, and he expects 100 rooftops to be using DriveHRIS by the end of the year. Stassen outlined some key reasons dealers should consider migrating:

  • AI and Machine Learning: The platform is built on a foundation that can enable advanced AI and machine learning capabilities to help dealerships gather, analyze, and leverage data for improved HR and health and safety decision-making;
  • Mobile Forward: CADA 360 Drive HR provides a more comprehensive mobile feature set allowing managers and employees to access a wide variety of features not normally found in the marketplace;
  • Employee Engagement Tools: The software includes powerful employee engagement and company culture functionality, such as surveys and tools to generate things like employee net promoter scores; and
  • Training and Development Resources: It provides access to extensive staff training and development resources to facilitate staff retention and career building.

Because the platform is processing vast amounts of dealership data, over time the platform will get even better at assessing trends to help leaders make better decisions. For example, on the recruitment front, which efforts and outreach sources ended up producing the best results leading to the most successful candidates? Are there any health and safety or compliance related issues that keep occurring?

The ability to generate employee responses and feedback and measure employee engagement also helps dealerships improve their culture and the performance of their people.

Psotka said CADA 360 will also be exhibiting at upcoming dealer events such as the Automotive Conference and Expo (ACE) in Niagara Falls, Ontario and at the Western Canadian Dealers Summit in Banff, Alberta. CADA 360 and DealerPILOT staff will be available at the CADA 360 booth to answer any questions or concerns dealers have regarding the new software.

“Advanced software platforms like CADA 360 Drive HR are created to help our dealer members better track and manage the performance and boost the job satisfaction of their teams,” said Tim Reuss, CADA’s President and CEO. “Dealers provide feedback. We help DealerPILOT develop better software. It’s a win-win.”

Reuss said the CADA’s 2024 Workforce Study yielded lots of interesting findings, and exposed many gaps that still exist in automotive retail, where dealerships are paying higher wages and struggling with low retention. Helping track employees, mapping out career paths for them and engaging them to boost culture are all ways to help improve results. DriveHRIS is on-point in delivering on those needs.
