Reynolds and Reynolds has acquired Boston-based TSD Mobility Solutions, a company that designs and develops fleet mobility solutions for dealerships, OEMs, public automotive groups, and rental car businesses around the globe.
“The company’s values align with ours, their approach to creating high-quality software synergizes with ours, and our shared focus on customer service makes this a perfect fit,” said Kasi Edwards, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Reynolds, in a news release.
According to Reynolds’ news release, TSD operates in 92 countries and helps more than 16,000 dealerships improve their operations daily through a variety of options — including for shuttles, subscriptions, test drives, and pickup and delivery services.
Edwards said the importance of fleet management continues to grow as convenience and customer experience remain a key focus for both dealers and OEMs.
As for TSD, it will operate independently while Shawn Concannon, who has been President of the company since January 2022, will remain in that role. For his part, Concannon said joining Reynolds opens “so many possibilities to streamline workflows across the industries we serve, further increasing efficiencies and reducing risk for our customers.”
