The Canadian Automobile Dealers Association recently launched its new CADA 360 Security Services program that includes a comprehensive solution powered by RecovR. The news was announced by CADA and Kudelski IoT, a division of the Kudelski Group, on June 5.
In a news release, the association said Kudelski IoT will collaborate closely with CADA to offer dealerships a solution to manage their vehicle inventory and quickly recover any stolen vehicles. In a nutshell, the new service is meant to help dealers both tackle the issue of auto theft and provide them with the option of selling the stolen vehicle recovery service to consumers.
“CADA is working diligently in Ottawa to advocate for legislation that will curb the tide of stolen vehicles leaving the country,” said CADA President and CEO Tim Reuss. “By introducing this new service, we are also taking action at the dealer level to mitigate theft.”
The idea is to help dealers manage the auto theft issue, while providing them with the ability to generate additional revenue and profit. The RecovR service offers consumers 24/7 monitoring of their vehicle’s location, in addition to alerting them when the vehicle moves.
“After extensive reviews and evaluations, and with input from our CADA 360 Garage Insurance Committee, we have selected a product that best meets the needs of our member dealers,” said Michael Psotka, CADA’s CFO and Director of Member Services. “RecovR will help manage dealership inventory and recover stolen vehicles quickly and effectively.”
