The HGreg Group, which operates in both Canada and the United States, announced that Emilio B. Imbriglio—former President and CEO of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton—will join the company’s board of directors effective April 2022.
Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton is a (Canadian) member firm of Grant Thornton International that includes a team of more than 2,600 employees located in some 100 offices across Quebec, and in the Ottawa, Ont. and Edmundston, NB regions.
“I’ve always been inspired by high-performance entrepreneurs who are committed to innovation, leading-edge projects and disrupting entire industries for the benefit of the consumer,” said Imbriglio, adding that “I look forward to helping install a governance charter and Board reflexes that formally demonstrate to stakeholders HGreg’s genuine concern for sustainability, diversity, social responsibility and ethics, amongst others.”
Imbriglio is described as an expert counsel in governance and strategy, with an extensive list of achievements. In his new role, he will help the company reach its growth plan target and expand its digital transformation.
“Emilio knows and understands what it takes to institutionalize innovation and, ultimately, to help us transform our industry and business practices in ways that deliver value to all of our stakeholders,” said John Hairabedian, CEO at HGreg Group.
Over the last decade, HGreg repositioned itself as an automotive technology company that it said “happens to reinvent the car-buying experience.”
“Delivering a smooth and memorable customer experience is not merely the result of a nice showroom or website. It’s impacted by all elements of a company’s operations,” said Imbriglio.
