Feds reviewing Tesla “Passenger Play” issue

Federal investigators are looking into an issue with Tesla after an over-the-air update allowed drivers to play onboard games while the vehicle was in motion, according to The Drive. “Tesla gameplay functionality, which is visible on the front centre touchscreen from the driver’s seat, is enabled even when the vehicle is being driven,” said the NHTSA. “This functionality, referred to as ‘Passenger Play,’ may distract the driver and increase the risk of a crash.” (Source: The Drive) Read the original story…
