The Windsor Assembly Plant in Ontario is shutting down for two weeks starting on June 7 due to the global shortage of semiconductor chips, according to Stellantis (formerly Fiat Chrysler). “Stellantis continues to work closely with our suppliers to mitigate the manufacturing impacts caused by the various supply chain issues facing our industry,” said LouAnn Gosselin, the company’s head of communications for Canada.
