Tesla’s Elon Musk has suspended the use of Bitcoin towards the purchase of its vehicles. “We are concerned about [the] rapidly increasing use of fossil fuels for Bitcoin mining and transactions, especially coal, which has the worst emissions of any fuel,” said Musk in a statement posted on Twitter. “Cryptocurrency is a good idea on many levels and we believe it has a promising future, but this cannot come at great cost to the environment.” (Source: Global News) Read the original article.
