Chip shortage impacts Ford shifts, F-150 production

The global shortage of semiconductor chips has pushed Ford Motor Company to cancel shifts at two of its plants and build F-150 pickups and Edge SUVs without certain parts, according to CNBC. “The number of vehicles impacted is expected to be ‘in the thousands,’ according to a Ford spokeswoman.
