Quebec misses EV sales target by about 8,000 units

Quebec narrowly missed its sales target of putting 100,000 electric vehicles on the road by 2020, as the province sold an estimated 92,000 battery-powered units. Simon-Pierre Rioux, President and Founder of the Quebec Electric Vehicle Association (AVEQ), said there were many obstacles to buying an EV, such as cost, charging infrastructure, and lack of availability at dealerships.
