Australia gets first in-door drive-in cinema

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre partnered with Village Cinemas to host a series of events called the “MCEC Drive In(Door) Cinema.” It will be Australia’s first in-door drive-in cinema, running until Jan. 26, 2021. “The huge indoor space at the convention centre means each screening can accommodate up to 174 vehicles — rain, hail, or shine,” said CarAdvice.
