U.K. needs 16M cars to be EV by 2030 to meet climate goals

The U.K. will need to make 46% (16 million) vehicles on the road electric by 2030, in addition to banning the sale of new gas and diesel cars, if it wants to reach its climate goals. “The Prime Minister recently announced his intention that the U.K. should dramatically reduce its emissions (with a 68% drop from 1990 levels to be) on its way to becoming carbon neutral by 2050, but such a shift will require huge changes for motorists.” (Source: Auto Express) Read the original article…
